Undergoing the IVF process is a complicated journey that can be stressful, particularly if you're concerned about how your employer will respond when you request fertility treatment accommodations. During IVF, scheduling an ultrasound on the first day of your menstruation cycle often requires taking time off work at short notice. Additionally, the stimulation shots can enlarge your uterus and add weight, which may necessitate further accommodations, such as needing to sit more frequently. Thankfully, you can focus on your health without worrying about your employment status during the IVF process, as you have important employee rights IVF that protect you.

Employee protections during IVF

Pregnancy is recognized as a medical condition, and while many are aware of this, not everyone knows that pregnancy protections begin during the fertility treatment process, including the IVF process.
